Today, let's dive into an exciting exercise:
How would I craft an outbound sequence as if I were on Asana's team?
Why Asana?
Beyond the fact that I've recently fallen in love with it at Agorapulse, I see immense potential across diverse teams and industries.
For the sake of this exercise, we'll zoom in on the SaaS industry, specifically focusing on one of its most dynamic teams—the marketing department, with a spotlight on the CMO.
But, what challenges lie ahead in 2023, and how can Asana help with them? Here are three pivotal initiatives:
Rapid Team Expansion: As SaaS businesses grow, it's often the marketing teams that need to scale quickly to meet the expanding demands of reaching new markets, managing diverse campaigns, and upholding brand consistency.
2024 Marketing Strategy Planning: Q4 is just starting and executives are already working on planning 2024
Launching a Major Product or Feature: product launches directly impact customer acquisition, retention, and overall brand perception.
For each main email, I follow this structure:
Observation: Something I found about them
Share a problem: relevant to the observation
Build credibility + Share a solution: explain how we help another company solve this problem
Call to action: to start a conversation.
Then I follow up twice.
